WHO IS ELIE SAAB, DESIGNER OF THE BRANDED RESIDENTIAL PROJECT IN SCDA?

Based in Beirut, Lebanon, Elie Saab is a globally renowned designer whose work is recognized by celebrities all over. In his early age, he went to Paris to study fashion and started his journey in haute couture with a team of 15 employees. His work got recognized locally and gradually attracted a larger clientele, including some high society individuals. In 1997, he became the first non-Italian designer to be part of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, and in the same year, he showcased his collection outside Lebanon in Rome. But Saab became more well-known in the United States after he became the first Lebanese designer to design a dress for an Oscar-winning Halle Berry. In 2003, Chambre Syndicate de la Haute Couture invited him to be a member, and he showed his first Haute Couture collection in Paris. In his career, he followed Haute Couture a lot, and to date, his main work is inspired by Haute Couture. Elie Saab has many businesses other than Fashion Designing. He showed up as a judge of Project Runway: Middle East. He introduced his cologne line-up, designed luxurious yachts, and he has also designed many residential projects all around the world.
