We have long awaited this, and now it is finally here. The talks for the elevated road for SPR was in for quite a while now, and now it is getting its tender release with an amount of Rs. 755 Cr* given by the Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority, GMDA. The Elevated SPR was a much-needed infrastructure as it connects the Cloverleaf with the Vatika Chowk in its first stretch and will provide much-needed ease in traffic, especially near the Tulip Chowk and American Express red light. This corridor is going to be a 4.2 km elevated stretch with 4+4 lanes on each side and 2 lanes of up and down ramps at key areas.
The officials have said that once completed, the SPR Elevated Road will provide seamless connectivity between NH-48, Dwarka Expressway, Vatika Chowk, and the Golf Course Extension Road, which will eventually connect you to the Golf Course Road. This elevated SPR will smooth the transportation of people who travel daily from Dwarka via Dwarka Expressway, as they have to commute through the inner city, which is mostly jam-packed.

The Positive Impact on Real Estate
Infrastructure development has always been the best booster for property rates, and the elevated SPR will be no different. There are plenty of residential projects that fall on the Southern Peripheral Road, including upcoming township projects DLF Privana and Signature Global SPR Estate. Not to mention the whole ecosystem by Tulip Group in Sector 69 and 70. Collectively, this Elevated SPR will boost the property rates in this corridor as well as those of these projects.
