Content Creator

About the Role

Responsible for developing engaging content across multiple platforms, from concept to publication. This role involves brainstorming, writing, designing, and producing high-quality content that aligns with the brand's voice and marketing objectives. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, clients, and management to understand content goals, create targeted material, and ensure a cohesive brand narrative. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Photography or Media Production.

  • 1-3 years of experience in content creation, specifically in the real estate, marketing, or media sector.

  • A portfolio of previous work (blogs, videos, social media campaigns, graphic designs) is required to showcase your skills.

  • Ability to create compelling, engaging, and informative content.

  •  Strong visual content creation skills, including photography, videography, and graphic designing.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and “keyword research” to optimise content for search engines.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, mainly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).

  •  Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for creating graphics and editing videos.

  • Ability to develop creative content ideas, including blogs, articles, property listings, video tours, and social media posts.

  • Office-based with occasional meetings outside the office.

Responsibilities 

  • Create a content calendar to schedule posts, videos, blogs, and other content types across different platforms.

  •  Optimise listings with relevant keywords for better visibility on search engines (SEO).

  • Produce informative and engaging blogs or articles about real estate trends, market updates, buying/selling tips, and local community features.

  • Research industry news and trends to create content that resonates with potential buyers, investors, and sellers.

  • Manage content on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to promote listings, events, and the company brand.

  • Monitor social media performance and engagement levels, adjusting content strategies as needed to increase followers and leads.

  • Create high-quality video tours and photoshoots, virtual walkthroughs and drone footage of properties to showcase listings.

  • Design flyers, brochures, banners, and other promotional materials for online and offline use.

  • Track performance metrics for email campaigns. 

  • Optimize website content (property descriptions, blogs, and landing pages) for search engines to drive organic traffic.

  • Work closely with the sales team to create tailored content that supports lead generation and sales goals.

  • Provide regular reports on content performance including engagement rates, traffic, lead generation, and ROI.
